Atrei Nihul Ve'Iruach Ltd., operator of the Alef Food brand, is committed to providing equal, respectful and accessible service to all customers, including people with disabilities. We are working to make www.alef-food.co.il accessible in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA.

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site

The site has been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. The adjustments include:

  • The site is available in Hebrew and English, with an HE / EN language switch

  • Images have text alternatives that describe their content, and decorative images are marked as decorative

  • Page headings follow a clear hierarchy, so screen reader users can navigate by heading

  • Reading order follows the direction of each language (right-to-left for Hebrew, left-to-right for English)

  • A visible focus indicator appears during keyboard navigation, and a "Skip to main content" link is available

  • The page language is set so that screen readers pronounce content correctly

  • The site adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile screens

Known Limitations

We are continuing to improve the site's accessibility. Some content may not yet be fully accessible, including third-party content and services such as the online shop and the gift voucher system. If you run into a problem, please let us know.

Physical Accessibility

Our cafés and event spaces are located in the National Library of Israel building in Jerusalem, which offers accessible parking, an elevator and accessible restrooms. For any other questions about physical accessibility, please contact our accessibility coordinator (details below).
